Jules Mae's Saloon- 5919 Airport Way S Seattle/206.957.776/http://www.myspace.com/julesmaessaloon//

Opened in 1888 and once served mostly Georgetown's factory workers. Historical bar/restaurant that can’t be passed up for 21+ folks looking for something to do in the area.

Stellar Pizza- 5513 Airport Way South/206.763.1660/www.stellarpizza.com// One of my personal favorite pizza places in the city. Relaxing environment and good music to boot. But it is on the pricey side. Open Monday 11am-11pm, Tuesday-Friday 11am-Midnight, Saturday 3pm-Midnight and Sunday 3pm-11pm

The Squid and Ink- 1128 S Albro Pl/206.763.2696/www.myspace.com/squid_and_ink// Vegan eats and live punk music. The Squid and Ink is a spin-off of the Wayward Cafe that opened in 2007. They also have an internet terminal to check your myspace and they serve alcohol.  And for all of you non-drinkers they just started selling locally brewed rootbeer. But one of their most amazing dishes is the fish sandwich with fries. Wow! Open 9am to Midnight, Closed Mondays.

Georgetown Liquor Company- 5501-B Airport Way S/206-763-6764/www.georgetownliquorcompany.com// This place has pretty good vegan food. Some stuff has cheese on it but almost everything you can ask for vegan. The kitchen closes at 10pm. Also very important is that they have tons of Atari 2600, Nintendo and  Supernintendo games that are always on and always free! Open Monday-Friday 11am-2am, Saturday 2pm-2am and Sunday 4pm-2am.

Record Stores

Public Spaces

Marginal Way Skate Park- E Marginal Way S & S Hanford St/marginalwayskatepark.org// This is a DIY built skatepark – community funded, built, and maintained. It was created partially as a response to the demolition of two of the major Seattle skateparks, and was originally planned to be temporary, but now a shit-ton of work is going into it and they’re trying to get a legit permit to exist. Support them!

Oxbow Park- Located on a vacant lot 6400 block between Carleton Ave. S. and Corson Ave. S.// A weird/ kind of trippy park with giant statues of Cowboy hats and boots.

Ruby Chow Park- Located at the north end of Boeing Field with a spectacular view of Mt Rainier and Boeing Field.
